In September of 2013, I began my school year with the Upstate Homeschool Co-op. Before school started I had a feeling that I would be the shy girl who always sat by herself but after a few weeks I had made a couple new friends and was being my self. (Which means I was back to talking a lot.) The four classes I took there were General Science, Grammar, Literature Analysis, and World Geography.
Earlier in the year, I had come to UHC’s open house. That day people from the Logos Theater were passing out flyers for a Drama Camp they do every year for UHC students. I asked my Mom if I could be in it and she said yes. A couple weeks after auditions I found out that I was to be a walk-on in the play A Basket of Flowers. I had so much fun during the week we spent rehearsing that I forgot I even had a part. When UHC began I found myself constantly thanking the Lord that I was in that play because now I knew the cast and since they attended UHC I was not friendless.
