Look Up Lodge – Day 3

Image

Day 3 was our last full day at camp. We had breakfast and went to Chapel before we began the activity that took up a good bit of my Day 3 photos. Mom said that we were to meet our summer staffers at the Canteen, so that’s where we went. While we waited for our summer staffers to arrive everyone began to look for money that might have fallen through the cracks of the Canteen porch. A couple of kids found a quarter each.

In this activity our summer staffers, Jonathan and Lauren, taught us more about Psalm 23. We pretended that Lauren was the shepherd and the campers were the sheep.

With that sorted out, we began a very long hike to the top of a large hill where we would be able to interact with real sheep.

When we returned to our cabins it was free time, so everyone changed out of their clothes and into their swimsuits. I, once again, did not take any photos during free time. After free time we had dinner and then headed off to chapel. I believe all of the girls in our cabin took the nature trail to chapel.

I believe that was the first time we had taken the nature trail and arrived at Chapel early. We were so excited when the Black team was called in first, we got front row seats! Overjoyed I began taking photos. I shall post some of the blurry ones, for they captured some of the funniest moments.

Jonathan took my camera and, after figuring out how to work it, he took some photos and a video. (FYI-The girl with the blonde hair is not Lauren.)

Since we were in the front row, I took the chance and recored a lot of the skits. You may be wondering why I recorded so much footage at camp. The answer is simple: I am making a movie. I have all ready completed the trailer and will gladly send you it if you wish to see it. Just tell me you want a copy at tristensthomas@gmail.com .
